Maxxon PT-16 25 inch tubes with extra-large diameter versions of their 14′ and 16′ cataraft pontoon tubes. Rather than the 22″ “standard” 16′ Maxxon, this larger diameter version is 25″. The sixteen foot model P16+ Fatty tubes still have the same features as the regular ones – eight beefy D-rings per pair, two air chambers per tube, molded end cones, and full chafers top and bottom. The kick or rocker is about 4″, or 26″ (29″ minus the 3″ end cone) measured from the bottom.

New for 2013 are Leafield valves, replacing the old Halkey-Roberts knock-offs Maxxon used to use. These weigh about five pounds more than the standard 16′ Maxxon, and we will be stocking blue. Red and gray are sometimes available too, so call us if you’re not into blue. For all other info, please read standard diameter tube write-up’s for the 14′ and 16′ sizes. And note that we do not have a photo of the real McCoy yet – the picture is just a standard 16′.
